Nestled against the Whitemouth River, it is a favourite area for whitewater kayaking,canoeing and tubing.  Visit one of the local farms, famous for strawberries, raspberries and vegetable U-pick. Go for a walk down Main Street to the old Pool Hall and Residence, recognized as a historic place on the Canadian Register, and catch a glimpse of the home where bootleggers and draft dodgers hid from the law in underground tunnels that have been recently discovered.  Also home of Lidia Pajunen, the first mid-wife in Manitoba.
