Educational Opportunities

Eastman Tourism Association provides support to local tourism operators, agencies and events to enhance and develop knowledge and skills in the tourism industry.  There are experts in all aspects of tourism development, whether experiential tourism training, understanding financial statements, growing your volunteer base or business start-up information.  Visit the links below and tell us what training you would like brought to your community.

Manitoba Tourism Education Council (MTEC)

MTEC was established in 1989 as a not-for-profit organization that receives provincial funding to assist the tourism industry in Manitoba in remaining viable, through training their managers, supervisors and employees.

We have worked with thousands of tourism professionals throughout the province and in 2013 we trained over 11,000 individuals through our services online, at our training facility in Winnipeg and at group training sessions across Manitoba.

Delivering Knowledge For Tourism, Hospitality and Retail Success

We ensure our training and certification programs are practical, relevant and cost-effective.

It is our mission to enhance the performance and ensure the sustainability of Manitoba’s tourism and hospitality industry by delivering relevant training and human resource development.

Volunteer Manitoba
