You are invited to attend the BIGGEST VIRTUAL TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE taking place in Manitoba this year!
Registration is open for anyone to attend, but closes April 8, 2021.
Tourism was tipped upside down this past year throughout Manitoba and the world. Tourism was one of the sectors most impacted by the shutdowns and regulations. Businesses adapted and altered their tourism offerings and the industry deserves much credit for their hard work, passion and flexibility. While a more positive recovery outlook is now felt throughout Manitoba, a lot of work remains ahead for the tourism sector. It is estimated that it will take Manitoba’s tourism industry 3-5 years before it gets back to 2019 tourism revenues.
As recovery efforts proceed, knowledge building, strategic collaborations and utilizing existing resources are tools that can help. As such, Community Futures Winnipeg River (CFWR) and Eastman Tourism, in partnership with neighboring Community Futures offices and key tourism sector agencies are hosting the Pioneering our Future: Eastman Tourism Conference online from April 12-15, 2021. The conference is being offered at no cost thanks to funding support provided by Western Economic Diversification.
The conference will bring together rural communities, tourism-related businesses, tourism committees, event organizers, local governments, and others with interest in tourism. This conference will motivate and educate communities and businesses to work together to recover and respond to tourism opportunities and future industry growth.
Over four days, you will be treated to 10 education sessions with dynamic trainers, an international keynote speaker and even Big Daddy Tazz will make an appearance!
Attendees are encouraged to participate in the full conference as fabulous door prizes will be drawn throughout the four days. A few special announcements for Eastern Manitoba will also be made on the final day!
This conference is FREE!
All you have to do is use the information and inspiration to help grow tourism in Manitoba.
