Engage in the inspiration that artists discover in the Boreal Forest and the Winnipeg River.
Your guide, a local artist, will welcome you to the unique community of Pinawa. You’ll be guided on a trail walk and forage for art materials on the beautiful Ironwood, a section of the TransCanada Trail along the Winnipeg River, an important trade and travel route.
Be inspired as the artist demonstrates artistic inspiration and practice, highlighting two historically important women artists, one from a colonial perspective and the other indigenous.
