Things will look much different in Eastern Manitoba this summer. Sadly, you won’t be seeing groups gathering for our events and festivals this year. But on the upside, 2021 will be even better with Manitoba’s 150th celebrations and improved events throughout the region.

We’re heard from our members and other businesses throughout the region and we recognize that these are uncharted waters for all of us. To help you navigate the information and resources available to our members, businesses, not for profits and municipalities we have brought together experts from Eastern Manitoba to field your questions. The panel will include:

Dallas Mitchell from ZAMM Communications to provide marketing information for business and not for profits.

Lindsey Otto of Community Futures Winnipeg River will talk about their business consulting services and resources available.

Travel Manitoba will be on the panel to talk about their initiatives to help in the recovery and share their local campaign, “Home is where the heart is”.

Lesley Gaudry, Economic Development Officer will discuss rural tourism economic development and the municipal connection.

Jenny Dupas, Eastman Tourism will talk about tourism development and what the new tourism model could look like.

After the panel discussion, there will be time for Q&A.
