Grunthal Bison Statue (Grunthal)

Who doesn’t love a good roadside attraction? During your road trip to the RM of Hanover, you HAVE to stop by and see the bison statue!

The Grunthal Bison Statue is a magnificent monument located in Grunthal and was erected in 1995 by the Grunthal Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the tourism brought to the area by the Cottonwood Corner Game Farm, a bison and elk farm once open to the public.

You can find the Grunthal Bison just northwest of Grunthal on Highway 205/216.

Tourond Creek Discovery Centre (Kleefeld)

The Tourond Creek Discovery Centre is a fantastic outdoor environment to explore! While here, you can discover the diversity of plants and animal species, take in the breathtaking sights of grassy meadows and trails, and check out the five micro-ecosystems throughout the centre.

They also have many activities to offer and know how to make learning fun! This naturalized landscape is the perfect spot for picnics, photos, relaxation and fun!
