St. Adolphe Mother’s Day Market – Online Event

Are you searching for that perfect Mother’s Day gift? Show your mama how much you love and appreciate her with a special gift!

The St. Adolphe Mother’s Day Market has started and ends on May 9, offering two whole weeks of goodies to discover. All you have to do is join the Facebook Group, St. Adolphe Mother’s Day Market, to see all the vendors’ fantastic products.

There will be thirty-five vendors, with five vendors shown daily. From oils to lotions, clothing to bags, home décor to candles galore, and more, you can find unique products from various spectrums.

Sledtown Showdown Finals (online)

Have you heard the big news? Eastman’s Lac du Bonnet is in the finals for the Sledtown Showdown for the hottest snowmobiling destination in Canada! Fighting for the throne is Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba vs. Nipawin, Saskatchewan, both the Provincial Champions for their residing provinces.

Through six rounds and sixteen destinations per Western province, it’s been a nail-biter, but the small town of Lac du Bonnet has shown to be a fighter! Who will win and claim the Sledtown podium? Show your support for not only Lac du Bonnet but for Manitoba as a whole by voting today, tomorrow, and every day till May 2, 2021.

Wild Skies Resort (River Hills)

New to Eastern Manitoba is Wild Skies Resort! This glamping resort (glamorous camping) opens its door this May and is a shared space that embodies the best parts of camping, festivals, farmer’s markets, and home. It’s a community of like-minded people who appreciate and experience Mother Nature’s wild creations. It’s where you go when you need to reconnect with nature, each other, and yourself.

If you feel like heading out into nature but don’t want the hassle of camping? Then Wild Skies Resort’s domes or cabin is the perfect fix. Their two couple’s domes, Aurora and Eclipse, are ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape; while their Solstice Dome is perfect for a family staycation and can sleep, five people.

During your stay, you can enjoy a variety of amenities like:

  • Screened sunroom and outdoor BBQ.
  • Fully functioning vintage-style wood stove and window AC.

Hoopla Island (Pinawa)
