EMCA Presents Bouey-Doucet Duo (Pinawa) – May 8, 2022

If you’re craving a night of music, you don’t want to miss EMCA’s concert series featuring the Bouey-Doucet Duo! Experience these brilliant musicians as they blend a 200-year-old violin (Christina Bouey plays an 1820 Pressenda on generous loan from the Canada Council Instrument Bank) and a piano, played by Pierre-André Doucet, for classical works by famous French composers!

Epic Rides MB Getting Ready to Launch

Epic Rides MB is a new video series and website dedicated to showcasing Motorcycle and Road Trip Routes throughout Manitoba and beyond! This year, Epic Rides will be showcasing Eastern Manitoba in their videos, including the many adventures, attractions, and businesses throughout the region!

On May 1, Epic Rides will be releasing their first full episode featuring Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary! Visit them online to check it out and in the meantime, watch the teaser video below!

Manitoba Chambers of Commerce TRIP Program – May 6 to 16, 2022

It’s baaack! Manitoba Chambers of Commerce’s TRIP Program is coming back from May 6 to 16! For those that may not know, TRIP allows people to stay at participating hotels, lodges and resorts in Manitoba and receive up to $100 in rebates; and you can visit nearby participating attractions for 50% off admission too!

So, how does it work?

Eligible participants will receive a rebate in the form of a personal cheque mailed to a designated physical address or delivered electronically to their PayPal account. The dates eligible for rebates will be Friday, May 6 to Monday, May 16, 2022, with the window to upload receipts to the TRIP online platform closing one week later, at 11:59 PM on Monday, May 23, 2022. Manitoba residents aged 18+ can choose from ONE of TWO rebate options:

• Book and stay in a hotel, motel, or resort in Manitoba, then access a $100 rebate by uploading a proof of purchase receipt to the TRIP online platform.
• Manitobans looking for a day trip or outing: Visit one of the province’s 31 participating Star Attractions, then upload a proof of purchase receipt to the TRIP online platform to access a 50% rebate on general admission.

Bonus: Eastman Tourism is Hiring for the Summer of 2022!

Eastman Tourism is expanding our team! For the summer of 2022, we are looking for two people, aged 18 to 30, to join us in promoting Eastern Manitoba. Deadline for applications is May 6, 2022.
