Explore the Arts with Confluence Exhibit – Rural Artists Emerging Through Waves of Isolation

Pinawa Art Gallery has an exciting exhibit from November 20 to December 6, 2021! The exhibit, titled Confluence: Rural Artists Emerging Through Waves of Isolation, features four Eastern Manitoba artists, each with their own mediums and stories tell through their art pieces. Explore the arts with the Confluence exhibit, where you can explore the artists’ work and participate in fantastic workshops that will unleash your creativity and artistic side!

Meeting through the Rural Artists Mentorship Program and spending many hours through Zoom, the four artists and their mentor found friendship and support. Artists Kelly Murray, Alexandra Ross, Cyndi Wiebe and Kelly Klick worked with mentor Brenna George through the isolation and disruption of the pandemic. After a year, what has evolved is a confluence of their different mediums, styles and passions, allowing the public to explore what it has meant to be apart together.
