Join The Listening Room on May 31st when we present Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Dustin Harder, a proud, intrepid Métis singer/songwriter that fearlessly chases his dreams with songs to reflect his adventures.
With strong blues roots and smooth vocals, this dusty blues outfit delivers their singer/songwriter Dustin Harder’s hard-hitting guitar rifts of blues-rock in a tightly packaged live show and debut album release. Dustin Harder has been hard at work with the release of his self titled album that reflects his prairie roots and his travels through northern and western Canada.
The Falcon Lake Walleye Masters is a one day, live release, walleye fishing tournament, on Falcon Lake, Manitoba. Teams of two anglers per boat will compete to weigh the heaviest bag of fish, consisting of a maximum of four walleye.
This tournament has in the past and will continue to be a challenging event, comprised of some of the top walleye anglers around, and some looking to show that they have what it takes to raise the cup in celebration of an earned victory. All anglers are welcome, and encouraged to experience the excitement of competitive walleye fishing, in an environment that focuses largely on ethics, sportsmanship, and comradery.
From eggs to fingerlings, the fish hatchery works towards a sustainable fish future. Drop by the Hatchery Interpretive Centre during open hours to see the fish stocks, learn how the hatchery operates and receive an in-depth history of how fish stocking has evolved over the years.
It is time for the Anola & District Heritage Museum’s doors to open again for the season! The day will be filled with fun activities, raffles, vendors and live music by the Ilchyna Family. Make sure to check out the forging demonstration by blacksmiths shop and most importantly . . . have fun!
