Are you ready fore the season? Buffalo Point’s Lake of the Sandhills (L.O.T.S.) Golf Course is out of hibernation and ready to take on this summer’s golfers! Head on out this weekend and take part in the Woman’s tournament where you can win some Cash Prizes and enjoy a chef inspired dinner!

Canoe Derby

May 25 – Roseau River Park

It’s definitely time to get into the water . . . well in a canoe anyways. If you haven’t gotten your canoe in the water yet this year, the Canoe Derby in Roseau River Park offers up the perfect opportunity. Join your fellow canoeists for the exciting and beautiful paddle along the shores of the Roseau River.

Russlaender Tribute Fundraising Banquet

May 25 – Steinbach

The afternoon will begin with the Grand Opening and Curator tours of our 2019 exhibit “The Russlaender.” This will be followed by a special service in the Lichtenau Church (the first church established by the 1920s Mennonites in Canada and located on the museum’s grounds) to commemorate the historic migration of Mennonites from the Soviet Union to Canada. The fundraising banquet in the evening will feature speakers, artefacts, and music focused on the experience of the Russlaender Mennonites.
