Restorative Yoga & Nidra
December 10 – Calder House – La Broquerie
Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It’s a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body.
Restorative yoga helps provide that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety, through the use of props that allow you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching.
Yoga Nidra is known as the yoga of sleep. Be prepared to be taken somewhere’s blissful in your meditation portion of this class!
