The EastMan Choral Association presents Canzona and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio

This holiday season, the virtuosic voices of Winnipeg’s premier Baroque choir present one of Bach’s most beloved works like it has never been heard in Manitoba before. Canzona will present Bach’s Christmas Oratorio in collaboration with BC’s renowned Pacific Baroque Orchestra in four performances throughout Southern Manitoba.

Star soprano soloist Tracy Dahl takes the stage alongside Vicki St Pierre, Dann Coakwell and Tyler Duncan, accompanied by the expert musicians of the PBO. For the first time, Manitoba audiences will experience this masterpiece on period instruments in the way Bach himself would have heard the work.
