Don’t be Bored this Spring Break! Explore Eastern Manitoba and Partake in Fun Events!

Don’t sit at home this spring break! There are many fantastic activities and adventures in Eastern Manitoba and upcoming events that you can’t miss! So don’t be bored this Spring Break; make it an experience!

Mennonite Heritage Village (Steinbach)

Have a fun, educational adventure at Mennonite Heritage Village! While the village component remains closed till May 1, there is still plenty to do and see!

Explore the Main Gallery at the Village Center that features the history of the Mennonites from the 1500s to the present day. The Gallery periodically changes with new features and artifacts, so there is always something new to see and experience! The Art Hall is a fascinating feature where you can discover many local artists’ beautiful works.

The Gerhard Ens Gallery Exhibits promises to be an intriguing venture, and it is the perfect time to visit, too, as the current exhibit, Mennonites at War, ends April 2, 2022! Mennonites at War explores a number of themes, including martyrdom in the Reformation; violence and migration; alternative service and conscientious objection; military service (either as soldiers or non-combatants); and the stories of Mennonite women during times of violence and war.

Visit their website for more details!

You only have 60 minutes. Will you escape Captain Nemo’s grasp? The recommended group size is four, but they will allow up to a maximum of six players to participate.

The mission for The Quest room is to retrieve the master sword to defeat the Dragon to keep him from wreaking havoc throughout the kingdom. You have just 60 minutes to complete your mission! The recommended group size is four, but they will allow up to a maximum of six players to participate.

And finally, for the Jurassic Heist room, your group is tasked to break into Jurassic Island Research Centre to steal dinosaur DNA samples and escape within 60 minutes.
