Experience the Power of Love at The House That Love Built B&B (St. Pierre Jolys)

The House That Loved Built B&B is an one hundred-plus-year-old Canadian farmhouse and simply cannot be missed. Now a bed and breakfast with various other adventures taking place within its walls, the building has found a new, vibrant life and purpose. Your hosts Fawn Purnell and family, along with many friends, took on the task of renovating the house four years ago. At the time, it was going to be the family home, but eventually, Fawn’s creative and adventurous mind had the idea to share their home with travellers, to offer them a welcoming home away from home.

During your visit, experience cozy bedrooms with a fresh yet wholly country environment throughout the whole house. If requested, you can delight your tastebuds with breakfasts or full and light meals in al-fresco dining fashion. You’ll find that many of their meals feature local fresh produce and goods, and, of course, the secret ingredient is love!

The House That Love Built is also has something on the go. Among the bed and breakfast, there are several other endeavours your hosts work on like:

  • Furniture restoration and painting.
  • Making all-natural soaps and body butters. At the moment, they have a Father’s Day package that comes with two bars of soap and a heavy-duty apron perfect for BBQing or the shop! Visit our blog, 4 Father’s Day Gift Ideas, for more ideas for Father’s Day.
  • Offering English lessons. English conversation in-house free and extra English lessons available for hire. Inquire for details.
