With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, Eastern Manitoba has a variety of events popping up that will get you into the festive mood! Celebrate the holidays with these events to create memories and have fun!

Snow Place Like Home (December 17, 2021, to January 2, 2022) – Grunthal

Breathtaking, twinkling lights, relaxing sleigh rides, playful arctic animals, dancing elves, and so much more Christmas fun is what you will discover at the Snow Place Like Home event!

Hanover Ag Society and Access Credit Union invite you and yours to rekindle a familiar spark of magic as they cast a glow over the holidays. This event brings the North Pole to Grunthal for a safe, family-friendly drive-thru winter wonderland of lights!

Experience this winter show, iced with your favourite Christmas songs, every evening from December 17 to January 2. Stay secure in your vehicle for the entire twinkling tour of the grounds, then be sure to come again and again for the spellbinding scene to share with your loved ones!

Admission by donation, with a portion of the proceeds going to local community groups.

Festival des Crèches (December 1, 2021, to February 21, 2022) – St. Georges

Enjoy an event full of fascinating history, stunning art and various cultures with Festival des Crèches at the Winnipeg River Heritage Museum! At this festival, you can view 150 crafted nativity scenes, each offering its own uniqueness, beauty and artistic interpretation.

NYE Cocktail Party at The Depot (December 31, 2021) – Emerson

Start the New Year off with a fun and tasty evening at The Depot! Located at Emerson Golf Course, The Depot offers spectacular events and mouthwatering meals that you won’t forget! For their NYE Cocktail Party, you can dance the night away, enjoy a delicious roasted chicken or rib dinner (or both!), and, at the end of the night, watch the special New Year’s ball drop and light up the sky!
