Mark your calendars as we are hosting the 7th annual Celebrating Stories and Music on Thursday, April 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
We are pleased to feature STORIES with Gordon Goldsborough with an evening of storytelling based on his book, “Abandoned Manitoba: From Residential Schools to Bank Vaults to Grain Elevators”, a runaway success in 2016. Gordon returns with more compelling abandoned sites across Manitoba in his new book “More Abandoned Manitoba: Rivers, Rails and Ruins”. Join Gordon as he discusses his adventures across our province.
Plus…MUSIC with Paul McIntosh, a singer-songwriter with deep roots in Lac du Bonnet. Paul’s music reflects his varied passions, from agriculture to politics. His stories bring to life the beauty, romance and tribulations of life on the family farm. With his eye to the personal and the “heart” of a story, his music will draw you in and make you part of his world.
Join us for this lovely evening of Stories and Music. Refreshments will be served. Free and open to everyone.
